IL MAXIMO

The Massimo Italian Kitchen was founded in the summer of 2018 in the city of Ensenada, Baja California, by Italian Chef Massimo Zaretti, who currently leads the IL MAXIMO team during this extraordinary transition.

In order to provide the most authentic Italian experience possible, many of our products are not only imported from Italy but are also exclusive to our restaurant throughout the city.

At IL MAXIMO Italian Cuisine, we are committed to good food, a great atmosphere, and excellent service. These three ingredients in balance provide an unforgettable experience.

Our goal is to invite you to taste the varieties of cuisine that exist in Italy with imported products and fresh regional ingredients.

Homemade pastas

All our pastas are handcrafted daily using imported Italian '00' flour.

At IL MAXIMO, we offer over 8 varieties of artisanal fresh pastas, each with different flavors and textures.

Our Culinary Philosophy

We are a restaurant dedicated to providing products directly imported from Italy to deliver a unique experience.

At IL MAXIMO, our chef prepares homemade digestifs, which are offered complimentary with every dining experience. Our digestifs are also available for purchase in a variety of flavors (subject to availability) in 250ml bottles for $380 pesos each.

At Il Massimo, we harness the richness of local produce and integrate it into our cuisine. We collaborate with farmers, butchers, and fishermen to source the finest local products available.
